WHAT WE'VE GOT GOING ON
Looker is seeking Outbound Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) who aspire to a career in enterprise software sales, and are looking for an opportunity to grow in a fast-paced organization. You have great communication and organization skills, and can function both individually, as well as a member of a team. Failure doesn’t deter you, you are always prepared and professional. You want to be the best.
 
In the Outbound SDR role, you’ll initiate the beginning stages of the sales cycle by following up on sales led outreach campaigns, net new outreach through Phone, Email, LinkedIn and other value based approaches. This is a salaried position with a variable compensation for meeting quarterly objectives that are critical to the overall success of Looker’s growth.

WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO

    • Generate new sales leads through a mixture of calling and emailing, following up on sales led campaigns as well as self generated campaigns using value based approaches
    • Schedule meetings and product demos for the national Account Executives
    • Design a value proposition that drives awareness and initial engagement with Looker products and team members based on the business goals of new prospects 
    • Understand Looker’s offerings and effectively communicate and apply them to each prospects needs
    • Make a collaborative effort with Regional Directors and Account Executives to identify net new prospects and grow the business
    • Track and manage prospects through Salesforce.com
    • Achieve and exceed monthly quotas and objectives
    • Manage a prospect base consisting of specific target accounts in an assigned territory
    • Work closely with Sales and Marketing team members to achieve organizational goals 
    • Ability to speak with business executives about Looker’s business solutions 
    • Help to influence the lead to closed revenue by effectively using sales messaging

WHAT YOU BRING TO LOOKER

    • 2 + years of experience in prospecting or solutions sales or marketing into larger, more complex organizations
    • Strong sense of urgency and motivation to meet and exceed aggressive goals
    • Desire to pursue a career in enterprise software sales is a plus
    • Strong sales qualification skills
    • Project management approach to territory and business development
