Sales Planner at POPSUGAR

This position will be responsible for working with the sales team, in particular the Account Managers, in planning, executing and monitoring our clients’ advertising campaigns. The holder of this position will work with a designated Sales team to ensure flawless campaign planning and execution as well as provide optimal client service support. 

Core duties and responsibilities
  • Scope and build pre sale proposal plans that effectively maximize client investment opportunities
  • Partner with Account Management team to develop and prepare sales proposals and presentations, customizing them to meet specific client needs
  • Monitor, compile screen shots, and track data to measure campaign effectiveness.  Utilize this data to provide ongoing campaign management support to ensure revenue is maximized
  • Manage and coordinate calendaring reservations
  • Create internal orders in yield management system and Insertion Orders.  Effectively communicate program details to advertising operations team and other internal resources.
  • Communicate performance metrics achieved at the end of each campaign
  • Maintain campaign benchmark database and related metrics

Qualifications
  • Extremely detailed and organized
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of online brand advertising and social media marketing
  • Is flexible and can deal effectively with changes in priorities or ambiguity
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced, always-on, start-up environment
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Experience with DFP and other standard ad servers, a plus
  • Digital Advertising experience, a plus
