Digital Marketing Manager at Mindbody

The Digital Marketing Manager is a highly strategic, analytical and results-driven senior marketing manager who will play a critical role in building consumer adoption of the MINDBODY app. This position is responsible for developing and executing a clearly defined consumer acquisition strategy in a manner that supports business growth, drives awareness and revenue, and builds a loyal user base. Must be highly analytical, resourceful, consumer focused, team oriented, and will have an ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines. Must also have a proven track record for leading successful marketing programs across multiple touch points, with expert knowledge of the modern digital landscape.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Drive overall consumer acquisition strategy across owned, earned, and paid advertising with strong emphasis on digital. 
  • Primary acquisition channels include app store, online advertising, in-app advertising, PPC, SEM, marketing to our subscribers in coordination with events, social, and PR. 
  • Test new marketing channels and continuously optimize ROI and LTV across our campaigns and consumer funnel. 
  • Partner across marketing to ensure integrated cross-channel campaigns. 
  • Work closely with Partnerships to leverage brand partners as part of acquisition and revenue 
  • Apply research and analytics to leverage insights and inform creative approach. 
  • Turbo-charge viral growth by promoting and optimizing our ambassador program. 
  • Manage the SWOT team to improve the health of the app, city campaigns, and side projects as needed for marketing. Oversee any personnel or discipline issues and hiring and terminations as needed. Provides training, coaching, and counseling to team to meet and exceed goals and objectives. 
  • Other duties as required. Basic Qualifications: 
  • BS degree required, advanced degree a plus 
  • 4+ years of online, digital or app marketing experience 
  • Must have a passion and understanding of the mobile space 
  • Experience with social and mobile ad networks required 
  • Proven ability synthesizing full funnel analytics, testing (such as A/B and multivariate) and customer insights into successful marketing strategies 
  • Self-motivated, nimble and highly results-driven in fast-pacedenvironment 
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Responsible for fiscal management including budget development, modifications and continual monitoring to ensure adherence.
  • Highly analytical with comfort rolling up sleeves to perform quantitative analysis 
  • Excellent customer experience intuition; demonstrated success in creating innovative and user- friendly, customer-facing campaigns. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated success building buy-in for an innovative and bold vision. 
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; strong bias towards data-based decision making and comfort with pro-forma financial and operational analysis. 
  • Implementation orientation; demonstrated ability to translate strategic differentiators into innovative and detailed product requirements.
  • Ability to solve complex strategic problems and then execute against this strategy with the appropriate tactics. 
  • A strong understanding of the mobile ecosystem with experience working directly with apps
