YOUR MISSION
 
Due to Deputy's success and growth around the world, we're seeking a Software Engineering Delivery Manager to ensure we keep growing into an extraordinary team delivering more of what our customers love. You will focus on the efficient and effective delivery of Deputy's product and services, mentor our amazing engineers to be their best and promote our culture and values. You will be key to driving a people centric, high-performance culture. WHAT YOU WILL DO

    • Firstly, you will be a beacon of inspiration and courage to the people of Deputy and lead by example to shape brave, responsible, clever, customer centric teams with high integrity.
    • You will lead the delivery of Deputy software through multiple multi-functional squads in a fast paced and ever-changing environment. You will be a champion of engineering and operational excellence.
    • Establish key measurements on how we develop and deliver solutions and use those measurements through delivery to ensure we are at our best.
    • Consistently question the value of what we are doing and why we are doing it. Is this the right thing for Deputy?
    • Be responsible for people leadership of our engineers – including how we hire, onboard, mentor, and professionally develop our engineers. You will also always be on the lookout for developing new leaders.
    • You will have a constant understanding of people's engagement and treat that as important as any other measurement in the company.
    • You will communicate exceptionally well and help the whole company buy into the vision of each of our developments and understand how delivery is coming along.
    • You will help all functions to align on their goals, expectations and tie that into our culture and values.
    • You have a passion for technology keeping abreast of where the rest of the world is headed.

HOW YOU WILL DO IT

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

      • 3+ years software engineering management experience
      • Proven experience leading high performance teams and contributing to their skills development, personal journey, and performance management
      • Highly technical background with previous experience in an array of software development domains
      • Experience working with large-scale cloud-based environments – AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc.
      • A strong fundamental understanding of distributed systems, high availability, and high performance.
      • Security compliance and payments technology experience would be highly regarded.
 
Salary: 140,000-160,000+Super
