Checkr is looking for an experienced Technical Implementation Services Manager to help drive execution with our most important customers.  In this role, you will coordinate cross-functionally across all internal teams as well as the executive team and serve as the Customer Success technical counterpart for on-boarding and addressing ongoing technical needs. You will translate relevant, actionable information to be digestible by multiple audiences both technical and non-technical (project-level resources to executives). This work directly impacts our mission in creating a fairer future – come help us change the world!

What a typical week looks like at Checkr:

  • Build scripts and tools to expedite the onboarding of customers
  • Deliver performant, reliable, scalable, and secure code
  • Work with Product and Engineering teams to migrate services into product
  • Educate prospects and customers on best practices for Checkr integration
  • Answer technical questions from partner and customer Engineering teams
  • Wireframe custom integration flows
  • Distill and communicate customer needs to the Product team
  • Communicate and influence on project planning, execution, and delivery
  • Manage dependencies both within and across the company for multiple projects running simultaneously
  • Provide ongoing deployment progress to management using relevant reporting tools and dashboards

What you bring:

  • 7+ years in a customer facing engineering role
  • Outstanding written/oral/presentation skills; able to communicate at multiple levels within customer’s organization (executives to analysts)
  • Strong technical understanding of software systems at scale
  • Knowledge of REST API best practices and external API integration
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred
  • Proficiency in Ruby or Python
  • Knowledgeable in SQL and databases
  • Live in the San Francisco Bay Area - can commute to Checkr HQ in San Francisco
