Role Description

Reporting directly to the Leadership Development Lead, this role will be responsible for the strategy, design, and execution of all executive and hi-potential learning experiences across Dropbox. We are looking for a strategic learning designer and engaging facilitator to help build capability and inspire our most senior leaders (Director+) and hi-potentials across the organization. 

Responsibilities

  • Thought Leadership:  Understand impactful, best-in-class methods to develop more experienced/executive leaders and hi-pos
  • Strategy: Develop the overall strategy and roadmap for executive and hi-po development at Dropbox, including coaching and leadership assessment elements
  • Instructional Design: Leverage knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design to build compelling and impactful learning journeys and drive organization support for executive and hi-potential development
  • Facilitation: Serve as an exceptionally engaging facilitator that can inspire and energize a group of participants 
  • Partnership: Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to design best-in-class resources and experiences
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify key insights from analytics to drive improvements to leadership development programs and resources
  • Culture Ambassador: Act as a role model, driving cultural assimilation and our values in everything you do

Requirements

  • You have a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in designing and delivering executive/hi-po development programs
  • You have a passion for executive and hi-po development
  • You are a creative and innovative thinker and able to generate ideas and impactful outcomes
  • You have exceptional facilitation skills and can easily engage an audience
  • You have a strong instructional design background and understand key concepts in adult learning theory
  • You have strong project management skills and possess both operational rigor and a detail orientation
  • You have fantastic relationship-building skills to  work collaboratively with partners across the organization
  • You are comfortable in a dynamic environment, and can balance setting long-term strategic priorities with high-quality, tactical execution
  • You possess a “can do attitude” and a problem-solving orientation
  • You have excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills
  • You utilize qualitative and quantitative data in order to improve programs
  • BA/BS required
  • Certifications such as Hogan, Situational Leadership, Insights, and DISC a plus
