As our Director of Sales, you’ll drive new business acquisition for our Mid-Market and Enterprise business. You’ll build, develop, and lead a talented Account Executive team to develop and close new accounts. You will own our acquisition strategy and partner with our Marketing and Commercial Leads to define product market fit against new use cases.
 
We're looking for exceptional leaders that have built and managed high performing sales teams.

Responsibilities:

    • Provide strategic and operational direction to our Accounts and Sales Development teams to achieve ambitious growth goals
    • Develop and execute creative and efficient go-to-market strategies alongside the team to seed growth and expand Deputy’s TAM in new markets
    • Drive alignment and cross functional collaboration across Sales, Marketing, Client Success, and Account Management teams to optimize our customer acquisition cost and long-term value equations
    • Serve as an exceptional manager and act as an advocate to drive the achievement of individual/team business and results-based growth targets
    • Develop sales goals and objectives including sales volume, cost of sales, product profitability, and provide accurate forecasts of annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams
    • Create a culture reflective of Deputy’s Core Values that promotes open communication and innovation, and that rewards people for working together and achieving excellence
    • Serve as a public face of Deputy in meetings with clients’ executive teams, at conferences, and through thought leadership activities
    • Be a tireless advocate for our customers within Deputy’s team and company
    • Foster an inclusive work environment where employees have a sense of pride, loyalty, and belonging

Requirements:

    • 10+ years of managing diverse, engaged, equitable, high performing, and inclusive SaaS client-facing teams through successes and failures
    • Experience in selling and navigating complex deals
    • Demonstrated a bias towards action, strong problem solving abilities, and ability to own tough decisions related to scaling businesses
    • Drove effective collaboration for cross-functional initiatives including sales pipeline forecasting, unit economics calculation and optimization, and product development
    • Proven experience working closely with or leading marketing initiatives
    • Performance and metrics driven; experience holding teams accountable and driving consistent overachievement
    • Strategic and tactical experience scaling startups through multiple phases of growth
    • Strong track record of building, leading and mentoring high performing sales teams; able to drive a high-impact culture
    • Ability to work cross functionally and manage partnerships across organizations in the client and product lifecycle
    • Strong background of operational rigor and excellence
