Role Description

As Dropbox builds a best-in-class application distribution platform, you will help drive strategy and execute tactics for getting third party applications into the hands of end-users and teams. You will be working on a combination of strategic partnerships and scalable platform projects that help connect best-of-breed tools to Dropbox, ultimately improving the user experience for the many millions of people who actively use these products together every single day.

Responsibilities

  • You will collaborate with the Business Development Team to recruit Ecosystem partners and help deepen their functionality on Dropbox
  • You will establish strong relationships with internal Dropbox teams to build experiences that benefit both Dropbox users and its ecosystem partners
  • You will work alongside with engineering and design teams to ship new, impactful features that increase adoption of our partners’ functionality
  • You will champion and drive creative projects, preparing necessary technical specs, coordinating development activity, running experiments, and tracking progress of in-flight work
  • You will work with Product Marketing, Customer Success, and User Research to deeply understand, document, analyze, and synthesize user needs into product priorities, roadmap plans, and detailed specs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience required
  • MBA optional but highly desired
  • Experience launching successful products and features, preferably on multiple platforms (iOS, Android, desktop, and web)
  • Familiarity with the SaaS application landscape, particularly startups
  • Deep understanding and empathy for users, in particular those who use apps in a work setting
  • Ability to analyze and use data to inform decisions; Excel skills a plus
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proven ability to motivate teams and work cross-functionally in a highly collaborative environment
