Job Description

IVP is recruiting an Analyst to join as the second member of the Investor Relations team. The Investor Relations team is responsible for capital raising activities, Limited Partner relationships, and various strategic initiatives across the IVP platform. The successful candidate will play an important role enriching IVP’s investor positioning and related collateral and understanding the broader Limited Partner landscape to benefit IVP’s capital raising activities. They will report to the Head of Investor Relations and collaborate frequently with both the Finance and Investment teams. Candidate will, over time, be expected to interact directly with Limited Partners, though this may not initially be part of the role.
  • Capital Raising
  • Develop detailed due diligence materials, including qualitative discussions and quantitative analyses to build a narrative around strategy and performance
  • Respond to investors’ specific diligence questions
  • Develop a strong knowledge of IVP, its funds, and portfolio companies
  • Maintain investor data room during capital raising processes
  • Annual Meeting / Internal Strategy Sessions
  • Assist with the coordination of Annual Meeting content and agenda
  • Work with production team to develop compelling video content for investment case studies, industry trends, fund performance, and other topics
  • Conduct performance and portfolio analyses for internal strategy sessions
  • Ongoing LP Touch Points
  • Field LP queries on portfolio company status, performance data, etc.
  • Regular updates – Draft certain sections of Quarterly/Annual letters/newsletters/presentations to investors
  • Populate and update the CRM (Salesforce) and investor portal (ShareSecure)
  • Manage resources and policies for ESG/DEI programs
Ideal Qualifications
  • Prior Experience / Interest
  • 2+ years experience in a role that combines qualitative and quantitative analysis (e.g. investment banking, consulting, placement agent, asset management, equity research/sales, LP consultant, etc)
  • Prior IR experience is not necessary, but an interest in a career in IR is
  • Interested in translating data into stories – and excited by the insight discovery process

  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint familiarity (dynamic modeling, pivot table analyses, data transformation, etc)
